David Schwimmer's locally filmed 'Trust' scheduled for a run at the Michigan Theater
According to a Tweet posted by the Michigan Theater this morning, the David Schwimmer film that was shot partly in Ann Arbor, Dexter, and Plymouth, called "Trust," will finally have its local premiere on July 10.
The film stars Clive Owen and Catherine Keener, and it chronicles the fallout that occurs within a family when the 14-year-old daughter is manipulated, and then raped, by an online predator.
Local filming for "Trust" took place near the end of 2009, and several sets for the film were created at the University of Michigan North Campus Research Complex (formerly the Pfizer campus).
The film premiered at the Toronto Film Festival, and opened in five cities earlier this year, but distribution beyond those cities has been sparse.
