The series finale of "Lost" airs at 9 p.m. Sunday on ABC, and the hype machine is in overdrive.

A story at ABC News (isn't synergy wonderful?) lays out some of the big questions going into the finale. A piece in the Boston Herald wonders if the finale can satisfy everyone. (Hm, how come the phrase "yawn-inducing" shows up in the Herald piece but not ABC's?)

Meanwhile, producers Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof are speaking — in very general terms, of course — about what to expect from the big night. The New York Daily News says not to worry; they at least promise the end won't be a cut to black like "The Sopranos." And without giving anything away, MTV.com says the pair are very confident they got the ending right.

Of course, "Lost" has a local angle through the series' DHARMA Initiative, which in the show's mythology was based in Ann Arbor. Earlier this week, Jenn McKee interviewed the writer responsible for that tie; over the weekend, watch AnnArbor.com for more "Lost" coverage.
