Art Fair has come and gone, so that means the return of Sonic Lunch. Noon-1:30 p.m. This week, catch Mayer Hawthorne, or as you may know him “Andrew Cohen” from Huron High School. His album has a vintage sound, which involves '70s inspired tracks, filled with orchestral pop and funky bass lines. Free. The concert, normally held at Liberty Plaza, has been moved to the Michigan Theater, 603 E. Liberty St., because of inclement weather.

Downtown Chelsea’s popular summer music series, Sounds & Sights on Thursday Nights, expands to three days this week. Today, 6-11 p.m. Friday and Satrday, noon-11 p.m. The festival includes an art market and demonstrations, children’s entertainment and activities, a classic car show, open-air art market and much more. After the festival, films are shown at the Clocktower complex with lawn seating and refreshments including popcorn. Most events are free. There is a $5 cover for the festival social tent. Take in some hot zydeco for a sultry summer night with Buckwheat Zydeco at the Ark. 8 p.m. Buckwheat Zydeco has taken this red-hot hybrid from the Louisiana swamps into rock arenas, to two presidential inaugurations, and to the Super Bowl halftime show. A master of the piano accordion and the B3 organ, Buckwheat is ready to bring some Louisiana hot sauce to Michigan. $20. The Ark is at 316 S. Main St. Ann Arbor 734-761-1800.
ENTERTAINMENT
Head to Milan for the Movie in the Park plus music from Fiddlers ReStrung at Wilson Park. Music at 7 p.m., movie at dusk. See the fun flick "The Muppets" on the big screen outdoors. Fiddlers ReStrung displays a diverse arrangement of styles. American Bluegrass, Celtic fiddle, popular folk, Appalachian step-dancing, progressive acoustic, and more are all brought forward with a crisp, enterprising flair. The rain location will be the Milan Senior Center. The concerts will move inside but the movie will be canceled. Free. The park is at Wabash Street, between Redman and Division, Milan 734-439-1549.
