Acoustic Café radio show to offer special concerts at Top of the Park
Rob Reinhart is host/producer of the radio program "Acoustic Café."
Rob Reinhart's locally produced, syndicated radio show "Acoustic Café" will hit the road and travel to the Ann Arbor Summer Festival for a series of live concert tapings, featuring surprise musical guests.
"Acoustic Café: Live @ Top of the Park" performances will air on the syndicated "Acoustic Café" radio show, heard around the country and worldwide on Voice Of America. Locally, the show airs 8-10 a.m. Sundays on WQKL (107.1-FM).
Hosted in a tent within the beverage garden at Top of the Park —Â the free, outdoor component of the Summer Festival —Â these up-close-and-personal performances and interviews will give patrons 21 and older an intimate musical experience with national touring artists in the genres of folk, acoustic rock, roots, country, and more; patrons will have the opportunity to ask questions — but each guest artist won't be revealed until the day of the show.
Admission to these tapings are free (the suggested donation is $5), but tent seating is extremely limited, and patrons will be seated on a first-come, first-served basis approximately a half-hour before each performance (from 4-5 p.m. on Sundays). A cash bar will be available for patrons, and regularly scheduled entertainment on the Rackham Stage begins at 5 p.m., immediately following the "Acoustic Café" tent performance.
