Bob Seger tour in the works?
NOTE: Updated story can be found here.
Nothing's been announced yet, but a brief video on Bob Seger's website certainly suggests the iconic rocker with Ann Arbor roots is planning a tour.
The 40-second clip includes some photos of Seger through the years, a jittery map of the Midwest with some states highlighted, and a countdown saying "Stay tuned to BobSeger.com."
That's all there is, but there are basically two types of big news Seger could make at this point: a new album or a tour. And the map image in particular suggests the latter.
The website doesn't give a timeline for "staying tuned," but the Detroit Free Press is reporting that some kind of announcement is expected Thursday.
Seger grew up and started playing music in Ann Arbor. His long career includes countless hits like "Night Moves," "Rock and Roll Never Forgets," "Against the Wind," and "Old Time Rock and Roll." He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004.

When I saw Bette Midler's The Rose and heard Beautiful Loser, Night Moves and Main Street I knew my A2 High School classmate was no longer just one of us, but a SuperStar who belonged to the world. He is an amazing talent ! I have seen him so many times and have never, ever been disappointed by one of his shows. He is so genuine, honest and talented that there are few who can even compare !! Bob Seger is a national treasure !!

Night Moves means a lot to me, especially on a special night in 1976 !

This news is a little old. He's been coming up from FL on a regular basis to rehearse in this area.
