Even though we have lived half of our lives in states other than Michigan, we still tend to root for our homies, especially Bob Seger. I remember in the late '60s talking to Bob at a suburban detroit high school as he helped set up his stage to play at a dance. He was a genuine good guy back then to me, a 14 year old kid watching one of his first rock concerts, as he has been throughout his career. Congrats Seger!

Our old Ann Arbor High class of '63 alum has had a wonderfully successful career. We are proud of him! His popularity rides on the best wishes of all of us! I really enjoy listening when he comes on the radio or his song is used in a movie soundtrack. I don't get tired of his work! It wears well even all these years later.

Bob Seger is a class act. His hard work, good management and decisions to be a family man have always made me feel as good as his music itself. Bob used to do our sock hops and mixers when he was living and playing locally. May he keep up with the great songwriting and hopefully short tours in the near future.
