Surprise, surprise: When tickets went on sale this morning for Bob Seger's upcoming tour stops at the Palace of Auburn Hills, it wasn't just for the two previously announced dates, May 17 and 19: Tickets also went on sale for an unannounced third date, Saturday, May 21.

Like the two other Palace dates, tickets are $69 plus service charges. Tickets are available via Ticketmaster.com and all Ticketmaster outlets, or by phone at 1-800-745-3000.

The tour starts tonight in Toledo. So far, at least, the Palace is the closest the tour is coming to Ann Arbor, where the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer grew up and started his music career.

A recent poll on AnnArbor.com found Seger by far the favorite among the three Rock and Roll Hall of Fame acts with roots in Ann Arbor.
