Emmy nominations for the Michigan Emmy chapter were announced Wednesday morning, and Stunt3 Media, a production company composed of local filmmakers Buddy Moorehouse and Brian Kruger, earned a nomination for best historical documentary for "Black and Blue: The Story of Gerald Ford, Willis Ward and the 1934 Michigan-Georgia Tech Game."

This is Stunt3's second Michigan Emmy nomination; Moorehouse and Kruger have previously been nominated for "The Legend of Pinky Deras," a film about "the greatest Little Leaguer of all time." This year's Michigan Emmy winners will be announced on June 16 in Detroit.

"Black and Blue" had a limited TV screening in December on the Community Television Network in Ann Arbor, so the station is part of the Emmy nomination, too. The full list of nominees can be found at http://www.natasmichigan.org/pdfs/34thEMMYNOMINEES2012.pdf.

"Black and Blue" will be screened again locally next Tuesday, May 22, at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library.
