Ben Harper to play acoustic date at Michigan Theater this fall

Blues-rocker Ben Harper will visit the Michigan Theater as part of an acoustic tour this fall.

It will be Harper's first acoustic tour as a headliner, starting Sept. 4 and including a date at Carnegie Hall on Oct. 10. The Michigan Theater date is Sept. 26.

Tickets, priced at $39.50-$75 plus service charges, go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday via Ticketmaster.com and all Ticketmaster outlets.

The tour will feature songs from throughout Harper's career—from his 1994 debut, "Welcome to the Cruel World," to his latest album, "Give Till It’s Gone."
