There will be a "Memorial Service by Ann Arbor Holocaust Survivors" at the Jewish Community Center. 4:30-6:30 p.m. While The Germans tried to dehumanize the Jews, the survivors want to reverse this process and personalize their loss by remembering one victim at a time. Arie Lipsky, conductor of the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra, will play Holocaust music on the cello, and Todd Endelman, U-M professor of Judaic studies, will be keynote speaker. Free. Experience a never-before-seen concert at the "Grateful Dead Second Annual Meet-Up At The Movies" at Quality 16 And Rave Ann Arbor on Thursday. 7 p.m. Recorded at the Alpine Valley Music Theatre in 1989. See Ballet Preljocaj in "Snow White" at Power Center. Tonight, 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 8 p.m. In 2008, Angelin Preljocaj created this contemporary and romantic ballet for 26 dancers, set to music by Gustav Malher. Jean Paul Gaultier designed the costumes and Thierry Leproust the set design. Due to brief nudity and mature themes, it is not recommended for young audiences. Tickets start at $18. See Gary Gulman at the Ann Arbor Comedy Showcase.
