Artists who are interested in starting a non-profit Ypsilanti Artists Co-Operative — where artists work together in a building that provides studio space as well as a public gallery area — are being asked to contact Michelle Shankwiler at michelle@shankwiler123.com. There would be a minimum investment of $200-$300 from each artist, and a similar amount due monthly, depending on the number of artists involved.
