Ann Arbor predicted to get a break from the 100-degree days

By Cole Bertsos

Weather Underground is reporting there will be a high of 102 today, and a low of 75 tonight, along with a chance of thunderstorms.

But Ann Arbor looks like it might get at least a weeklong break from the 100-degree days its been seeing this month, with a high of 90 on Tuesday, cooling down to as low as 57 Tuesday night.

The temperature is supposed to stay in the high-80s the remainder of the week, and drop to low-60s at night.

And the winner is... !! Neither 102 nor 89. Seems like the actual high Monday was either 97 or 98, depending on who you believe.

I'm getting sick of the poor acuracy on my Droid weather forecast recently. I looked at my phone this morning and it was predicting a high of 89... SUPRISE!!! It's actually going to be 102!!!

The accuracy of their temperature forecasts has declined lately - the predicted highs are significantly higher than the actual ones on a regular basis - no other weather service is predicting 102 for A2 today. 95-97 seems to be the norm,, so 102 is out there. Maybe they are getting giddy counting all that money the Weather Channel is forking over.
