Ann Arbor native Aaron Bleyaert wins Creative Arts Emmy for Conan app

By Jenn McKee

Ann Arbor native Aaron Bleyaert recently won a Creative Arts Emmy Award for “Outstanding Creative Achievement in Interactive Media - Enhancement to a Television Program or Series,” for his work on the Team Coco Sync App for Conan O'Brien's TV talk show "Conan." You can see a photo of Bleyaert attending the ceremony with his dad on Bleyaert’s Instagram site.

Fellow app producers Conan O’Brien, John Wooden, and Timothy Campbell also won trophies for their work on the Team Coco app.

Bleyaert also occasionally plays “straight man” to Conan on-screen for a segment called “Clueless Gamer,” where Bleyaert tries to explain a game to the red-haired talk show host.
