Surovell's Alex Milshteyn named to '30 under 30' list by National Association of Realtors
Alex Milshteyn is the only Michigan representative on the National Association of Realtor's "30 under 30" list for 2011, which was released this week.
Milshteyn, 28, is a salesperson for Edward Surovell Realtors in Ann Arbor. He started at the company at the age of 15, and by 2009 he doubled his sales then had a 37 percent increase in 2010.His 2009 volume was $15 million, according to a report on AnnArbor.com. In 2009, Milshteyn tied for 6th top agent by volume in Washtenaw County.
“Right now everything is about price,” he said at the time.
The NAR list was published as the natonal housing industry continues to aim for a rebound after years of dropping sales and values in most U.S. markets. At the same time, the ranks of Realtors thinned.
According to NAR, "The youngest generation of real estate practitioners—whether they got in during the boom or charged hard into a tough market—are embracing today’s market realities and grabbing market share. "

OMG the stuff I could say here... Ah, yes, though, it *is* a 'game' indeed! So, can someone in the know perhaps tell me when it became 'allowed' to list basement SF in the total? This seems to be the 'new normal' for Rhinehart Realtors anyhow...

Bi Al hits it out of the park. with a "home" run. I've always said the Ann Arbor area is blessed with top notch talent in the Real Estate game. I'd put us up against cities twice our size. I'm thankful for that. Here's to making the 40 Under 40!!
