Shopping centers survey expects Black Friday to be 'intense'; nearly half of all shopping done for kids

More American households are expected to shop on Black Friday than did last year, the Kalamazoo Gazette reports.
According to a poll by the International Council of Shopping Centers and Goldman Sachs, 31 percent of American households are expected to hit the Black Friday sales this year — a two percent increase from 2009.
