General Motors CEO Fritz Henderson: University of Michigan's battery expertise generates 'real innovation'
I caught up briefly this morning with General Motors CEO Fritz Henderson at Detroit-based NextEnergy, where U.S. Vice President Joe Biden officially awarded more than $1 billion in stimulus grants to Michigan battery companies. I asked Henderson to describe the importance of GM's battery research relationship with the University of Michigan to the company's pursuit of electric vehicle technology. Watch the video to see his response.

I found it very helpful to hear Mr Henderson on video. His remarks were very reasuring. I now have a much more hopeful view of GM's future. It's great to be able to get video accounts instead of reading the same thing in a paper. Thanks for the online version of A2News!

new digital media. I like it. (it would be better if you had the rest of the interview).
