Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies hosts customer event to showcase green technology, including U-M solar car
Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies of Plymouth, a sponsor of the University of Michigan solar car team, hosted its annual customer and employee event "From e-Mobility to Alternate Energy: Sealing the Future in 2012 and Beyond" Sept. 20.

The event was intended as an opportunity for customers and the general public to learn how Freudenberg-NOK is developing environmental technology for electric and hybrid vehicles and talk with Freudenberg-NOK executives about green battery technology and other new "green" technology.
Guests were invited to observe the headliner in the 2012 Toyota Camry. It is a lighter-weight, nonwoven fabric made of recycled plastic soda bottles by Freudenberg Vitech in Hopkinsville, Ky. Visitors also had a chance to chat with executives, alternate energy company experts and the University of Michigan Solar Car Team.Additionally, WJR radio host Mitch Albom interviewed FNST’s Brad Norton and Michael Heidingsfelder during the live broadcast of the Mitch Albom Show.
