Elemental Design and Lotus Gardenscapes win awards from Michigan Landscape and Nursery Association
A large-scale residential landscape in Ann Arbor, entitled "Stone & Water." and a smaller courtyard design, both created and installed by Traven Pelletier of Elemental Design and Lotus Gardenscapes, won awards from the Michigan Landscape and Nursery Association this January.

The first project incorporated more than 100 tons of stone to create a three-tier water feature with a five-foot waterfall that provides a focal point from the living spaces at the back of the house. Two custom "French country" limestone patios complement the architecture and are integrated with an outdoor kitchen, fire pit and custom pergola.
The second project incorporates an "artwalk" of stacked stone with an ocular window. The courtyard contains a custom fountain stone and glass-lined fire feature.
Pelletier (also known for creating TREEform sculptures in Ann Arbor's West Park as part of a commission from the city) received his award at the MNLA awards reception at Devos Place in Grand Rapids.
Elemental Design is a division of Lotus Gardenscapes Inc. an Ann Arbor design and build landscape and contracting firm.
