IMO this car is clearly intended for production. One of the give aways is the design of the hood, specifically with european pedestrian crash standards in place. It's a beautiful car that will be way out of reach for most consumers. Good luck to Cadillac they're one of a few carmakers building cars that aren't completely boring. P.S. - Please build a convertible ATS (off the future ATS coupe) thank you!

You got that right! 'Elamir" = "The Prince" in the Middle East. "Raj" = "The Prince" in India. ElAmirRaj.

One can only infer from the spelling of the model name, this vehicle must be manufactured in a certain sub-continent that juts down into the Indian Ocean. I suggest that the vehicles be heavily marketed into that same sub-continent, in short, let the foreign autoworkers supply GM with money. I understand that area is densely populated, certainly there must be many more "middle class" families anxious to buy this over there?

"Concept Cars," such as the instant, give us a hint as to what the designers are cooking up for future models. Whom is GM now employing in their Concept Dept? The example presented here causes me to wonder if there will be a 2nd GM bankruptcy. Anyone agree with me? Disclaimer: I am a "car guy;" not a "Greenie." I have followed the industry for decades.

Cadillac should do just fine - they are expected to produce large, luxury cars like this one, so if it's well-made, there should be a market. But if not, they have $30billion in cash without a ton of liabilities. You're living in the past w/ thoughts of BK. One or two cars isn't going to bring them anywhere close to bankruptcy -- they'd have to screw up their trucks and their bread & butter sedans (Cruze, Malibu, Impala) for a couple of generations, which would take 5-6 years, for that to even be on the radar.

@ Rob Pollard. I agree that GM/Chevy trucks are great. But, I tell you that this style of cars will drag them into BK. GM will be a Dead Ghost within our lifetime. Yer so-called "high-endrers" buyers will Not accept a 4-banger Caddy over a BMW or a Mercedes or a Japenese model.

No. I don't agree with you at all. This is exactly the type of car GM needs to produce at the high-end of the market. And why bring up a 2nd bankruptcy? That's ridiculous at this point. They are making billions of dollars, have their costs largely under control (except for Europe) and are just rolling out new version of their most popular & profitable products, their trucks.

What a painful video experience. What is with the commercial? I would never do business with that advertiser.

Perhaps the advertisement on the video has changed, but the one I saw was a two-for-one plastic surgery offer by Board Certified Plastic Surgeons. I'm not sure what that offer was; modesty prohibits me from posting about 2-for-1, but guys with an imagination can probably figure it out. Why do just one, when you really need to have surgery on both of them . . .

Caddy offers the ATS equipped with a 4 cylinder engine. Feature that!!! But, you can get it with a 6 cylinder. It's all about CAFE (Corporate Average Fuel Economy), so GM can sell the Big Beasts, such as the CTS Coupe a/k/a the "Darth Vader." I test drove the ATS with the 6 cylinder. A really sweet ride! Acclaimed as "Car of the Year" by several car magazines. Did some Internet research. Tell me, isn't the ATS a Chevy Cruze with different sheet metal and sound deadening? Inquiring minds should like to know. Dig?

Undoubtedly a car for rich Arabs who sell us oil. Nice.

4.5-liter twin turbocharged VB? Any other views of this Mirajmahal?
