AnnArbor.com’s parent company, MLive Media Group, has been monitoring Black Friday activity across the state.

While Ann Arbor shoppers were very tame, there were scuffles at a Walmart in Saginaw and one food court-brawl at the Woodland Mall in Kentwood.

From Grand Rapids to Detroit, Michigan shoppers turned out in force for the holiday, and you can hear what people from different locations told reporters about their experiences.

To hear what people are saying about their Black Friday experiences on social media, you can checkout AnnArbor.com’s live blog using the hashtag #a2shops. For a more statewide view, check out this storify that MLive compiled using tweets from across Michigan.

AA dot coms obesession with this 'Black Friday' greed is disturbing. Please consider news more in line with useful journalism. I see plenty of information on this subject in for profit TV commercials. Many Thanks.
