Ann Arbor's Seva opens restaurant in Detroit
Ann Arbor restaurant Seva opened a restaurant in Detroit on Saturday, according to the Detroit Free Press.
The restaurant, which was originally expected to open more than a year ago, is located at 66 E. Forest near the Detroit Medical Center campus.
Seva, which specializes on vegetarian and vegan food, also has a full bar, wine list, fresh juices and espresso and its new restaurant, the Free Press reported.
Seva owners Jeff and Maren Jackson announced in 2010 that they would open a restaurant in Detroit’s Midtown neighborhood, marking their first expansion outside Ann Arbor.

Imported from Detroit = cars Imported from Ann Arbor = restaurants I wish the owners good luck in their new venture.

Nice to hear of the expansion, but the Ann Arbor menu has been frozen in time for years.

Maybe they feel "don't mess with a good thing"? They must be making money with the menu. Most people are in business to make money, ultimately.

It is their first expansion since coming to Ann Arbor, however, they started in Columbus, Ohio (who knew?).

That's good news. I'm glad they are helping to support Detroit by opening another store there.
