Sun & Snow is gearing up for the sunny season; swim suits, goggles, kayaking, biking gear and sunglasses have all made it to the sales floor already. This just in time for the Grand Opening Celebration at their second location in nearby Plymouth.

The event will kick off at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Plymouth location, 388 S. Main St., at the corner of Ann Arbor Trail and Main, and will feature activities for kids, live music, food, beer and wine, and giveaways, according to the Sun and Snow Blog.

Sun & Snow’s Ann Arbor location, will close at 4 p.m. Thursday, but both locations will be holding a storewide sale all weekend long. Look for a 10 percent discount off all merchandise.

Also finding its way out to Plymouth is Bank of Ann Arbor. Bank of Ann Arbor has newly acquired the New Liberty Bank, and opened its first Plymouth branch on May 15. “It seems only fitting that we would open our newest location in Plymouth on Ann Arbor Road, as it befits our status as Ann Arbor’s premier locally owned bank,” said Timothy G. Marshall, president and CEO of Bank of Ann Arbor.
